Mrs Annie Derartinian
Mrs Annie Derartinian has over 30 years in teaching Armenian, with a degree from Haigazian University. She is apart of the founding teaching staff of this School.
Mrs Cohar Karadanian
Cohar has over 30 years’ experience as a teacher. As an Armenian language teacher, she has worked at Serop Papazian Saturday School, St. Gregory’s Armenian School and was one of the founding members of Looyce Armenian School in 2010. Having a special interest in teaching fundamentals to early-stage and stage 1 students, Cohar is particularly passionate about sharing Armenian culture through music and storytelling.
Mrs Satik Gevorkian
Satik Gevorkian completed a Bachelor of Arts and Education Degree at Yerevan University of Foreign Languages. She also has Certificate IV in Centre Based Child Care from TAFE NSW. She currently teaches Armenian and Russian languages at Nepean Community College as well as Parramatta College. In 2012, Satik joined Looyce Armenian School as the coordinator and teacher of Pre-Kindergarten.
Mrs Irina Ghoughassian
Irina completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree (English Language and Literature) from Aleppo University and Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) from Charles Sturt University, majoring in English and Languages Other Than English (LOTE).
Irina teaches Armenian (Secondary). She also teaches Armenian Language and History at Galstaun College and works at Nepean Community College as a Literacy and English teacher.
Mr Shant Kotojian
Shant is a current University of Western Sydney student,  undertaking a  bachelor’s degree in Business and commerce, now teaching tomorrow’s Armenians here at Looyce  Armenian Saturday School. Being a previous student at the school has allowed him to give back to the school and students, with his learnings and perspectives as an effective tool.
Miss Mariam Melkonian
Mariam is currently studying a Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of Technology, Sydney. As a former student of Looyce Armenian Saturday School, she looks forward to working together with her former teachers to give back to the Armenian community.
